We All Have Different Body Shapes. Lee (Jeans) Gets It.
by Ellen DuBois on 08/15/15I remember when shopping for jeans wasn't difficult. I recall knowing as a teenager, what jeans fit me and what ones didn't. That was a long time ago... pre-cyber space!
Over the years the cuts, fabrics, styles, rises and more have changed in jeans. I remember being able to determine what fit by who made the jeans. (Back then, for example, Wrangler fit great where Levi's ran a bit small or weren't curvy enough for my shape. Bonjour jeans fit and Calvin Klein didn't. Most were straight leg or "pencil" cut, and spandex wasn't even talked about in relation to jeans. Boy have times changed!)
I digress.
Those "easy to know what jeans fit" days are gone- with the exception of one particular company- Lee. Once I know the style and cut I feel confident ordering them online. That doesn't mean I never have to try them on before buying. Of course I do. However, once I know the style number I'm good to go and confidentally order Lee jeans online.

It's refreshing to have a company that celebrates the differences in women's body shapes, (and heights). Lee jeans are not a one size one style fits all brand. Thank God!
Just like we are not a one shape fits all group of women.
Check out the style guide on the Lee site. It's clear, concise, and most importantly accurate. While I don't necessarily advocate purchasing jeans without trying them on first, if you're going to do it without knowing your style number or preference, go with Lee jeans. They are stylish, comfortable, fashionable and they fit. Their sizing chart is actually helpful and true.
Beautifully- or should I say beautiful-LEE.
