The Quintessential LBD (Little Black Dress) in Women's, Petite & Plus Sizes

The little black dress, or "LBD". It's a quintessential wardrobe staple. Perfect for a romantic dinner or your best friend's wedding. Dress it up with the perfect accessories, (red lipstick, sparkling bolero, the right bag & shoes), and you're ready for a holiday party. Dress it down for a more subtle look.

The little black dress has changed in some ways, yet, there's something refreshingly classic about it. I've often seen them look very similar to the ones my mother wore- with that 50's vintage flair. I've seen classic lines, reminiscent of the "Jackie O" days. Little black dresses seem timeless, and that's one of the things I love about them. (I also love them because they're, well, black. I tend to wear a lot of black.)

I need a new one. I've looked around and found some and I'll share them with you here. I used to have a "go to dress", but it got up and went because I can't find it anywhere! I don't know if I accidentally put it in the "donate" bag while cleaning out my closet. All I know is it's time for a new little black dress, or LBD. With one, I'm prepared for any gathering that might head my way.
