I love wearing scarves. They make a "plain" outfit looked polished to me. Scarves add an element of style, funk, boho and elegance to whatever you're wearing- depending on the one you choose.
I tend to lean toward infinity scarves. They're so easy and look, in my humble opinion, great. The chunky knits are super when it's cold out. The light, chiffon scarves are perfect for just about anything and they don't make you "overheat" if you want to keep it on as part of your ensemble while indoors.
There's a zip-up pillow bag I keep all my scarves in. (I don't throw those bags out. They're great for storage!) It makes them easy to find, all in one place and protects them from dust, etc. I have scarves made of silk, cashmere, polyester that feels just as soft as cashmere, tight knit, chunky knit, crochet and more in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Seems I'm becoming as much of a scarf nut as I am for shoes and pocketbooks!
