Hot Flash! What to Wear For Christmas?

Well, with everyone on my Christmas list pretty much taken care of, (I love giving gifts that are thoughtful- a great feeling!), I sometimes think about what to wear on Christmas day. I don't have a formal gathering to attend. Quite the opposite. I'll be relaxing with family and want whatever I wear to be comfortable. However, I like to mix comfort with style and a flair that's my own. I'm not into the 'trends'. Instead, I wear what feels right and hopefully, looks good on me.

To each their own, right?

My wardrobe consists of so many black pieces. Too many, (so I've been told). I love red, too. My colors tend to be black, red, dark gray and white if it's worn with black. When it comes to Christmas, the traditionalist in me comes out and, well, I like wearing some red.

Because I'm enjoying - (yeah, right) - lovely "hot flashes", turtlenecks are out. (God, I miss turtlenecks!) I've found that wearing a scoop or v-neck sweater with a scarf works best for me. I can whip off my scarf until the heat's off. Not so easy to do with a turtleneck...

With that in mind, here are some ideas I'm toying with for my Christmas outfit. Comfortable, a bit festive with the reds, casually chic and able to let in some cool air if necessary!

I'm very into tunics, leggings, a nice infinity scarf and boots, as you'll see.
