My name is Ellen and when I first launched this site about 15 years ago...make that 20! This site has gone through changes and evolved over time, just like me and the rest of us. I hope it's become better over the years and grown to meet the needs of online shoppers.
Way back when, I tried to think of products women needed to see more of online. Back around 2000, plus size clothing came to mind because back then, there weren't as many fabulous options as there are today. I'm also of the mindset that all sizes are just that, sizes. They don't define who we are, but clothing that we love, no matter what size you wear, should be readily available to you.
Personally, I've always had a tough time finding mid-size clothing that's also designed for someone who is under 5'3". I guess I'm a petite, mid-size shopper who is sometimes considered plus size because I buy size 10's and occasionally 12's, depending on who makes it. However, I usually run into problems because my hips and thighs may be comfortable, but I can't stand low, tight or gapping waistlines. In some brands my leggings are a medium, while in others I'm a large but they're often too long. Ugh. That's a tall order, pardon the pun...
Whether it's a plus size dress, women's jeans, the perfect plus size top, some women's jeggings, leggings, tunic tops, plus size swimwear or anything else you can think of, my goal is to help you find it.
